Sure, we could find lower-cost alternatives, but when it comes to semi-sweet chocolate, eggs, butter, brown sugar, toffee, macadamia nuts, fruit fillings and all our other special ingredients, we wouldn’t dream of cutting corners. Even our no sugar added fillings, sugar-free chocolate chips and other specialty sugar-free ingredients are all premium quality. In our kitchens you’ll find the same ingredients you use at home, not the mass production ingredients listed all too often on the labels for lower-priced, store-bought desserts. Jeff Blum founded The Great American Batter Company, a wholesale bakery in 1994 after previously operating as a division of Southern Gourmet Products Inc. As a sole owner for the first 6 years there was never a dull moment. In 1997 after the birth of his first child Jenny, the company began labeling and packaging its products with a JennysBest label and secured jennysbest.com. With over 20 hands on bakery years of experience and a true love for what he does, Jeff ensures that every product is offered with the service you require and the quality you desire.

David Shechter joined the management team in 2000. David manages purchasing, public relations and key customer relationships for the company. His mix of dedication to detail with unique humor always keeps positive energy flowing throughout the bakery. His determination and focus on success continues to improve the methods in which we produce and package our products in our wholesale, retail, and now internet divisions.
